History

In 1941 George Shaw recognized a demand for true craftsmanship in the growing mold repair industry. What began as a small mold repair shop has evolved into a state-of-the-art precision mold and contract machining organization. Shaw Industries has built a reputation of trust and dependability that its customers have come to count on, from engineering and design to machining.

Today, Shaw Industries, Inc. boasts one of the most outstanding facilities specifically designed and built for its dual manufacturing purposes. From the beautifully appointed office area, with its custom wood and brick work, to the automatic built-in chip removal conveyor system, every facet of its operation reflects the character and tradition of its founder's business philosophy.

Shaw does not strive for a quality standard, it simply maintains a quality tradition. For those in need of design assistance, Shaw has in-house design capabilities available. in addition, a wide variety of auxiliary services include compression and injection mold testing and complete in-house inspection supported by a 56" Coordinate Measuring Machine which receives annual certification.

Shaw maintains a service oriented two shift system supported by dedicated craftsman with the expertise to handle any job, from standard precision machining to those special projects requiring precision hand craftsmanship.
